TinkerCad is a free website for you to create your own 3D images.  All you need to do is create an account using an email address that is NOT your school email.  Follow these direction here for more details.

Thingiverse

Thingiverse is operated by MakerBot, but it's an online platform or resource to share your creations, make contacts with other creators, or download already pre-made 3D models (.stl files) ready to print.  No account needed, just an imagination! 

BHS offers CAD classes

Mr. Drexler, teacher in the Industrial Tech department, teaches a CAD class at Bettendorf High School.  This Cad class is designed for students pursuing  Engineering or industrial related fields. The students use AutoCad and Solidworks Cad software to learn the industrial application of drafting and creating multiple 3D perspectives.  These are then printed on a 3D printer. Students leave the class with a complete portfolio illustrating their work.
